I get sick of being called Gen Y and then being told why I'm the worst type of person in the world. Who the hell can claim all these things about me when I'm still trying to figure it all out myself! I also get the feeling 20 somethings delay the whole marriage/home/kids thing because our parents did it so you and "look at the regrets they have". I don't think generational rebellion is new so what's the big deal? Thanks for the link! Am off to read now :) I know! This is totally peripheral to your main point Joel, but this kind of analysis is especially annoying since it's just the characterisation of twentysomethings. It's not something special about Gen Y, it's what people do in their twenties (admittedly, with delayed marriage and childbearing, this period is getting longer). Twenty years from now Gen Y will be the Uptight Stable Generation.
